Plugin IGN-LIF Work related to tree crown segmentation, developed by Cédric Véga from the IGN's LIF laboratory.
Plugin SimpleForest QSM algorithms (terrestrial LiDAR) developed by Jan Hackenberg based on his PhD thesis at the University of Freiburg, followed by a post-doc at the IGN's LIF laboratory, and now continued independently.
Plugin Step Work on the segmentation and geometric reconstruction of tree trunks in terrestrial LiDAR point clouds, based on normals and Hough transforms (STEP algorithm). It also includes tree crown segmentation algorithms (terrestrial LiDAR), stemming from Joris Ravaglia's PhD thesis at the Université de Sherbrooke and the LSIS.
Plugin LVOX Occlusion correction features using space voxelization and Plant Area Density calculation. Currently focused on terrestrial LiDAR data processing, with future extensions to other data types. Developed by the Université de Sherbrooke (Richard Fournier).
